Taylor's was never a ban, penalty for contact with the head (as seems the norm now) and nothing more.
Allgood touched the ref but I've seen that go unmentioned plenty of times before but now its been brought up that'll be a ban
agree with most of that but contact with the ref needs nipping in the bud before it becomes a problem, regardless of which club's players are involved. in general a minimum 2 game ban would help in this area with no exemptions for EGP (its more of a conduct/dissent issue than foul play). but i agree with you that it needs to be applied consistently.
