Top of the league though and a home cup 1/4 final to look forward to without our star signing hitting his top form yet, being almost disappointed in a derby win we cantered to in the end.
It is good to be black and white right now.
Yeah, offensively he had a relatively quiet game. Some credit to Rovers for that, I felt they targeted our size and were reasonably effective, although clearly not enough. Didn't take a step wrong in defence though.

Maybe with us being top of the league after 15 rounds would be a good point for you to issue a full and frank apology for the things you've done/said about Lee Radford? The Petition for example, or the personal insults like calling him a 'turd', or dragging his character through the mud by calling him a liar on multiple occasions, or the unfounded accusations of bullying younger players like Jamie Shaul.

People need to lay off bumpy. Yes the petition was not one of his greatest moments, but he clearly cares about the club. Radford is proving a lot of people wrong, myself included. Yet the same posters are derailing threads constantly poking fun at him, it's boring.

Never thought I would be disappointed with a twelve point derby victory, goes to show how expectations are steadily increasing with each passing week.
Rovers only chance of winning yesterday was to stop our forward momentum which has been the keystone of our performances in recent weeks. This, they succeeded in doing for about 40/45 minutes. The game became scrappy, we lost our flow and rovers became energised at the thought of an upset.
Cue Carlos. One cool head entering an increasingly headless chicken scenario and normal service was resumed. Has to be one the most devastating introductions off the bench in Derby history. His pass to Yeaman was worth the price of admission for the entire weekend and his short ball to Mini was simply sublime. Ten minutes to turn a game on it's head.
We've now won two derbies by effectively playing well for about 35 minutes in total, what that says about both sides in 2016 is open to (heated) debate.
A potential banana skin has been stepped over (derby games are rarely, if ever, straightforward) and we go on with our good run intact. There will be stiffer tests ahead, but once again this team has shown that it can fight and scrap its way to victory when not quite firing on all cylinders as well as steam-rollering the opposition when they are.
Onwards and upwards (hopefully) in this increasingly exciting year.
I've been on the internet and have already got a sense of the fans' passion for the club. They are very fanatical - Peter Gentle 12th September 2011.

I don't give a poop what you think sonny. Your disgusting behaviour on this forum toward myself is far far worse than anything I have said about Lee Radford. And as i repeatedly said, I was referring to him as a turd coach, but you are unable to read what I said in context. Lee Radford HAS lied on multiple occasions, as has Motu Tony regarding aspects of the club which I demonstrated on the forum time and again so I'm not apologising for diddly. Unfounded, no, what happened was VERY clear, it was bullying and LR handled the situation extremely poorly and publicly (on local radio at the least) criticised, embaressed and effectively said that Shaul was a liar. I'd call that bullying. But still you won't copy & paste what I said in relation to that will you, just your sad ramblings about my petition.
At the time Lee Radford was dragging our club down at a rate of knots, my belief is that ANY coach in the SL right now would get our squad of players into the top 4, I said that LR should be shot if he didn't (& yet more ridiculous posts saying I've threatened to shoot him ffs!!) due to the quality squad we got this year, one far and away better than any we've had in many many years. As I said that at the time of Chris Chester's sacking that given the same opportunity that LR had had, he would have done equally well as the coach of Hull FC and from what he's done at Wakey that holds true. You may disagree. I've given plenty of praise to LR & the team this year and criticised when it was appropriate, even when we lost heavily against Widnes my posts were measured unlike many others.
But crack on derailling yet another thread, you couldn't help yourself could you!!
And as has been pointed out, time and again, this your opinion and have never been fact.
You have never proved anything and on the whole you have had a negative slant on all things Radford.
As for the Bullying, that again is solely your opinion on a situation you were far removed from. Therefore you don't have an informed opinion. The very fact that Shaul is playing the best RL of his short career so far sort of suggests that what ever the metaphorical kick up the 'arris his got / needed, its seems to have worked. Hardly the reaction of someone being bullied.

Unfortunately, Bumpy completely overstepped the mark a number of times during his vendetta against Radford, and I don't see why this should go unchallenged(?), at least until a full apology has been made.
We were all critical, as it's our right to be, but some of the stuff he did/said simply lacked class.
His reply earlier shows he has no humility, he still hides behind his nonsense claims, he still gives Lee Radford zero credit. I don't think he does care about the club, he's been branded a troll my numerous people. At least his mate Seb had the decency to give it a rest and admit when he was wrong.

We're still recovering from the constant Radford out threads - thread after thread in the last few seasons. Not rational debate but vitriolic garbage. And plenty of thread derailments managing to call the coach whatever the thread might have been about. We all were and have been critical of Radford over the last couple of years - Easter 2015 I thought he should go for a short period after the derby defeat although to be fair he then got two unlikely wins on the bounce which probably saved him. It wasn't so much the criticism but the nature of it and its relentless boring repetition that became increasingly divisive and seemed to be forever slagging the club. If you love a club you don't spend hours on end on forums slagging it or key individuals within it off in my opinion.
So don't be too harsh on those of us who were critical but also always tried to be balanced - often being labelled as "club apologists" for our troubles (remember the guy Standee who got banned ? - ) - when we remind some people of what poop they were talking not so long ago - relentless poop that was anything but supportive of the club. What goes around comes around. We've won nowt yet and may well finish up that way. But we're enjoying things a bit more now with the man who was vilified by some still at the helm. So if you're bored on here try and get through it - just like we have had to do in the not so distant past for different reason.
