are you serious?

Are you, tongue in cheek reference to the heat on Sunday, I'd guess. Coffee girl will still be in raptures after her 40/20 bucket list wish has come true.

Not tongue in cheek, it doesn't take 5 days to hydrate. Simple fact.

Eddie Hemmings won't be sleeping this week, due to the excitement of Tomkins playing.

You've misinterpreted my post!!! I was suggesting Coffee girl was posting "tongue in cheek". They probably rehydrated on the bus home, "if Carling did rehydration"

It was. I had four pints of water in an hour on the terraces and didn't need a wee I was sweating that much. Can't be good for you on the pitch.

We were in seating, after one of the second half tries, Pryce walking back, wiped his brow and said to the crowd " It's flipping hot" sure that's what he said

the artist wrote:rehydration takes no time at all, good nutrition is all that is needed. the problem is repairing damage to the muscles. basically all physical exertion damages the muscle fibres (micro rips and tears) which need time to recover. this process is sped up by rest and things like ice baths. sports science has changed a lot over the years but the classic RICE still applies (rest, ice, compression, elevation). of course other things are in the equation nowadays too, such as massage and supplements

Sorry, this is what I sort of meant at the time. Although not as in depth!

Drinking bit is true though, I remember Gary Neville talking about the effects taking days to clear.
