It was good to hear BBC make a number of references to players over the weekend who had come through the ranks of London Broncos, great they think LMS and a number of other boys would have been lost to RL if there was no team in London

Dave Woods did get it wrong about LMS "not cutting it" at Hull Academy. Pre Quins we didn't run an 18s so had a deal with Hull that our guys would go there, but he was always coming back!

Louis, Toby Clubb and Ade Adebisi were sent to Hull whilst we worked on appropriate structure for them to return to. To be honest they made it through despite the system not because of it. It was definitely a loan deal. I have vague memories one of then wanted to stay up north, had fallen in love etc, but was told they had to return. Might be wrong though and it may have been someone else.

It was a smart move by the club. You wonder what Peter Lupton would have made of that opportunity rather than being packed off to Charlton Park RUFC to get game time at a crucial point in his development.
