Green has only started twice in 2.5 years, the last time in 2014 and he just isn't that 'nasty' type of player. He shouldn't have to be to play well, he has other good attributes that I don't think are exploited. He'll not set the world on fire but when brought in doesn't do much wrong IMHO, he certainly offers more than Feka and a couple of others whilst being on I would imagine not a lot of money.

Gaskell is a strange one and a bit of a gamble, looked brillant as a youngster, but never kicked on, scores try's for fun and is a really dangerous runner, think he could go well with Sneyd. Maybe needed to drop down a division like Brough did. Had a few injury problems though.
I reckon most of SL will be after bowden and it could be a challenge to keep him but I can't see the point in signing gaskell. Is he any better than tuimavave? And he isn't good enough at this level IMO. Has gaskell got over his injury problems? It was the reason he left saints I think

Another Sts regect to add to Peyce, Long, Hunte.
The only positive transfer from Sts was the true superman, Mr S. Prescott

Just ask Greg Eden

Gaskell left Saints because he failed to take instruction from 3 successive coaches. Always had plenty of ability, but could never stick to the same hymn sheet as the rest of the players...
If he's ironed that out with experience he's probably the best shot in the championship right now

Abdull sent on loan for a month to Fev. Gets him some game time but in his last year of his contract I'm not sure what that says about his future with us. Maybe I'm reading into it too much.
