That is great news! Don't think I've ever seen a player plug any gap in a team and not only do it adequately, but excel! Never worried about short kick offs with Whiting on the field, and he was always first onto a loose ball. Still can't quite believe he's no longer at the club.

Definitely, worse case scenario is we're behind at half time and it'd raining and cold. If we could agree with the RFL and Catalans it would be great to get Whiting to kick off the game, or at least bring the match ball on.
I think bringing on the match ball would be best because as was the case last season as part of the 2015 celebrations it gives a focus on the actual player before the teams come out!
