He was at the game yesterday, so doubt that he only went for a few days. However, Pearson did say that he was going over there in a few weeks. Probably some wires crossed with Smurthwaite somewhere.

Based on talent then yes, based on other factors, injuries, attitude and cost then no.
Don't think Radford or Pearson would touch him.
Reckon he is after an NRL deal, probably the main reason he has started to play.

He's had a few good games, but nothing that would have me thinking he was the answer. We're doing OK at the moment, so any new signings need to be significant upgrades in talent. (Other than Pryce, who is a similarly bad signing as Long was)

I know loyalty is in short supply in pro sport, but you would hope the way the club supported Bowden after his driving ban would count for something.
