That pretty much removes Sheffield as a contender for top 4 (although they will want to get back at us in Blackpool). Keeping the focus is key. Top 2 now looking very distinct possibility, we beat Bradford at our place, and that would put 4 points between us and them (assuming they win games in Hand).
Fev V Leigh huge game.... Fev win we top of league, but Leigh win and we start to see daylight between top 2 (us and Leigh) and others in top 4.... Difficult on what I want to happen there.
After Bradford we have Fev away. Win both of those we could be in the top 4 with several games to spare to allow players to be rested. But going to stop there, as getting ahead of myself, and still long way to go before we get into June and July

Sheffield were awful, I mean utter garbage. They reminded me in may ways of us at times last season. On the negative side we were up to our usual trick in first half, error or penalty, 2 or 3 tackles later Sheffield try. And the game became pretty untidy in the second when the Eagles seemed intent on headhunting Garside and Battye - wonder why. The flow to the game was lost, culminating in Magrin and Aston being sin binned and soon after Eagles getting two tries in last 5 or so mins. BUT in the meantime we played some tremendous stuff, defensively organised, robust in contact, on the whole purposeful kicking game and no end of flair in attack. Not perfect by any means but a real confidence booster.
The interesting scenario - and I could quite work out what was going on when we had Barthau, Cunningham, Ackers and Bussey on the field at the same time, assume Cunningham hooker to s/o, Bussey s/o to lock, Ackers to hooker - nice use of the troops in the absence of an out and out 6.

Er, like, WOW! I thought that we'd win, but not that easily. Anybody know the attendance - I was wondering if it was one of those games where the crowd changes are read out to the players.
Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently. Rosa Luxemburg, 'Die russiche Revolution'.
Sheffield were not at the races last night. But for some ill discipline on our part, they would have remained scoreless in the second half. Considering we bombed three or four good chances, the score could have been significantly greater. Wes got his kicking back on track too. It was good to get past fifty points for the first time this season. Sheffield should hold no fear for the Blackpool game if they play like that there. So now we need Fev to do us a favour, so that we stay top. 2016 is turning into a good year, long may it remain.
Congratulations on the victory. You'll be pleased with Hendo and Eddie Battye now,no doubt? (Not to forget Matt Garside) You were good to watch last night and for the first time this season I saw a side who may be competitive, from the Championship, when in the Middle 8's. Pleased for your travelling support.Displeased we have to play at Bawtry Road.
I wouldn't put too much money on a repeat at Blackpool....But equally, don't bet against it!
PS - I don't mind your owner informing the RFL the Summer Bash is a futile concept and should end immediately.
No reserves, but resilience, persistence and determination are omnipotent.
We were rubbish against Sheffield last season, when we played at Doncaster. Yet turned it on at Blackpool. On yesterdays form, although we should not take victory for granted. I would be very confident of a win.
