Good nwes on Ellis and if he did take a wage drop thats the correct thing to do by the club given his actual injury record so an extra year is right also.

It is dissapointing we don't have a home grown half capable of doing the business. RD is never going to develop if he doesn't get game time at a higher level.
So he's either not good enough and won't develop further in which case him going wouldn't be a loss or his coaches aren't doing their jobs properly in bringing him along. Either way I can't see us signing a big name 6 or centre for next season unless we offload some of our talent as we just won't have the space even if we lose feka, Pryce, Yeaman. Whiting's salary was never intended to be included this year as that would have pushed us over I beleieve so his salary won't make any diff for next season.

Yes I'd like to see him line up every week fact is he has started only 58 sl games for the club and a few of them not finished leaving us short on the bench , also how do people think he would make a good coach just because he is a good player alot of good players make terrible coachs and some average players make great coaches IE Wayne Bennett ,I think he's expensive and don't get value for money we could get somewhere else's for the same contracts he's had and too add another year

It's not just what you get on the field with Ellis (which is immense), it's what he brings to the club off the field as well. Think he's helped develop the culture of the club for the better.
I feel priveliged to have seen him pull on the black and white shirt.

Some pro RL teams in Hull can only dream of such a return
