Reece should be more than ready to stamp his mark on the Super League by now .......If we were to compare to the NRL, Thurston is the best half back followed closely by Johnson ......The rest of the quality half-backs within the NRL are aged at 20 plus ......The reason being is because the half-back role is one that is dependant upon natural talent and a natural foresight of the game that is developing before them, whereas the forwards game is one that comes with playing time and usually a forward comes to fruition within the latter part of their career.
Reece should be capable at this moment in time to take the Super league by storm, but apparently his defence is currently keeping him from doing so .......Which, is a tad harsh considering that the majority of half-backs have a dodgy defence (speaking as a red and white, Dobson's defence was absolutely terrible) ......Instead, Hull FC and Radford have decided to choose that chubby fella Abdul over Reece regarding filling in for the half-back role whenever the first choice half-backs are not available because his bulk is seen as more defensive than that of Reece's.
Matty Marsh is currently filling in for us at half-back simply because he is the only option we have .......If we had Reece, he would be getting more Super League game time than he is currently getting at Hull FC.
It maybe due to our lack of depth within our squad, but he would be getting the game time nonetheless ......Apart from his love of Hull KR, maybe this is the reason why he apparently wants to come to Hull KR!

There is absolutely no way Rovers are looking at signing Dean to start at HB, so what happens if in they manage to get their halfs on the field. Where does Dean play.
Hey boss, can I get a game on DR? Ok what about the reserved?

I think the problem is the have 4 young halfs if you include Sneyd and we are also looking to sign another, so one maybe has to go and the coaching staff rate HTW and Abdul higher than Dean, this is why he has been playing FB. So maybe it's better for him to move on, just not sure Crisis club Rovers with a poor reputation for developing youth players is the right choice.

If he wants to go though it's not our problem

Jon Wilkin does love Hull KR .....He loves them because he supported them as a child ......You and I can relate to his love of a club growing up as a child, but the difference between Jon and us is that he is a professional rugby league player and he has spent his career at Saints because Saints are a club that has the potential to win silverware .....And fair play to him ......I am in no doubt that Jon now loves Saints just as much he does his childhood club!

Dean may be a better half back than Matty Marsh at present......The only difference is that Hull KR have no other choice to play Matty Marsh because he is our only option at this moment in time ......If we had Reece, he would get more Super League time than he is presently getting ......And this isn't a reflection on Hull FC, it is more of a reflection on Hull KR's poor recruitment
