GH, get bidding!

Selling himself on eBay with no takers. Not quite the character we need to replace Sir Kevin and lead a brave new generation My favourite of his stunts was building a nightclub in his garden because the club had banned him from the highlife in cas Vegas.

Hope this don't happen but burns name as cropped up. Saints want him off wage bill so they can sign a winger.

A lot of interesting names there, and a lot that unfortunately are likely to be out of reach.

Of the relative unknowns Shaun Nona was quite impressive for the Pride the other year and can kick, Walker has been pretty good at Souths this year but is obviously not first choice.

Having said all that if we are getting guys like that with little to no NRL experience Id rather we try and develop Lilley.

As an aside Ive always quite liked Mortimer, who plies his trade as more of a 9 who can cover the halves today (but still defends the middle). That would be a signing that would make some sense for us next year imo.

To develop Lilley I would say you need an experienced Halves partner, a Leader, a Director with him. McGuire is out again plus isn't having a good season and Sutty ain't no experienced Halves partner. Burrow has proven he can't lead the team around the park either. I would say Marshall should be a serious target for us.

That could well work though I'm not too convinced Marshall will want to come over here I'd rather risk the money and quota space on someone we know has been world class.

Is Marshall really that kind of organiser and leader though, or is he more of a Chase style maverick playmaker?

I think he has that element to his game, but not in the same vein as Chase. Marshall is a much much better team player and has organisational skills too.

Agree, a bit like Mags Benji seems to have added a few more strings to his bow as he's got older.

Like playing slower?

Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.
