I'd laugh but I know you're not joking!

Thought when I saw the Wigan team sheet that it could be a Wakey win but obviously nothing like that scoreline.
The real worry for Wigan isn't today's result (just a shocking day at the office but they'll bounce back)......it's again the question of what level will Sam Tomkins be at when he returns. It originally said he'd return for Easter, we're past that and he's saying he's still 4/5 weeks away so you have to wonder just how bad his knee is.

If Tomkins plays this season????
The first team that play him who ever it is , should just make one hard legal tackle on that leg and he will be out again , poor wigan all that salary cap ????????????????????

What planet are you on. Wakefield tonking wigan is a terrible result for us.
Wigan getting stuffed (by anyone) is a great result. I don't see how it will affect our season in the slightest. We won't be top 4. Our only hope is the cup!

He's always said May hasn't he? Don't think I've seen anything different.
We got smashed by Catalan and Cas last year and still ended up in the GF. We'll probably be there again judging by how gash the quality of the league is this year.
"Sam Tomkins was seen by a senior and well-respected orthopaedic consultant who recommended surgery to deal with the posterior cruciate ligament injury which Sam suffered while playing for the New Zealand Warriors early last season," a Wigan statement read.
"The surgery was performed successfully on Friday and it is anticipated that Sam will make a full recovery.
"However, he will miss the start of the First Utility 2016 Super League Season and Wigan fans can look forward to him returning around the Easter period."

True you'll still be in the top 4. However if Tomkins isn't at the level you'd hope if you're a Wigan fan and along with McIlorum ruled out too, it would significantly make your chances of winning tougher.
