An important thing to consider is what the "stay away" fans have started doing instead of rugby and what they are using the money for. I know quite a few who have taken on other interests using the money they used to spend on rugby. Yes the team are doing well, but we've won nothing yet as people have said, a cup run and continued league results will get some people back, especially if we continue to play more attractive rugby.

Bit difficult to win anything in April. If your condition for coming back is waiting for a trophy then you're effectively ruling yourself out of coming back for another year regardless.

Well I started this thread so I'd best have a few closing comments. This answer to my original question is about a thousand. By my reckoning, from a home fans point of view there were around 1000 more there at the Hudds game than the Wire game. A reasonable increase.
I would hope that a win at Headingley (fingers crossed) and a win at Belle Vue could see a gate of 11500 for the cats game ?

Would be getting back to where we should be if that happens. Fingers crossed for the two results beforehand.

If you had brought more then the netting blocking off north stand would have been moved across a bit. That's what they had to do for Warrington.

the netting was already across the next block though, that's another 300 seats or so? i don't get why there is a need for 30 stewards and netting at either side of a couple of coach loads of away fans.

The Stadium Management Company changed the away supporters area in the stadium for Hull City matches last year, and we/you are suffering the consequences.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

Probably something to do with the crowd disturbance at your last home game
