Didn't Leeds know Sinfield was going at Easter last year? not sure the Giants were aware Robinson was going to quit at that point?
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

Who mentioned McGuire? We knew we needed our halfs changing at Easter last year though for this year. Huddersfield however lost their main pivot right on the eve of the new season. Hence, why not exactly the same, and the answer to your question of what is going on with them.

Which player are you referring to when you say first choice half?

Luke Robinson wasn't their main pivot and he didn't even start a game for them in the halves last year, all his starts came from hooker and they had signed Ryan Hinchcliff for this year anyway. Hell with a fully fit squad he'd have struggled to be in the 17 this year if he'd have stayed fit.

Rubbish, and highlighting your lack of thought process with other clubs. They signed Hinchcliff to free Robinson back to scrum half, and on his return from long term injury Kyle wood was going to cover both roles. There whole preseason was thrown into the bin right on the eve of the season. And that is the answer to the question you asked on the previous page.

No they weren't. He'd already been demoted to squad number 23 and Jamie Ellis was given the 7 shirt. It would've been Brough and Ellis in the halves. Hinchcliff at hooker and Wood on the bench most likely.

I would have thought Robinson was going back into the halves - Ellis can't stay off the chips - if Ellis is the first choice why have they brought in Brierley?

That is not what they bought him for - never played other than an odd game at FB in his entire career.
Zac Hardaker started on the wing on Friday does that make him a winger?
The have bought him as a half back to fill the space left by Robinson's early exit
As Gutenberg pointed out some on here are incapable of dealing with the facts.
