They did good to get him off. He looked like he was coming round at that point but the couple of minutes before that he looked like he'd had about 10 pints. They certainly put their bodies on the line for us.

Wasn't a vintage performance but yet again we found a way to win despite some key injuries and the pre match disruption. it was one we could easily have lost. fonua doesn't look fit at all, he was limping quite badly at one stage so must still be having problems with his knee

Decent game i thought, nothing in the teams until Broughy's yellow then we had our usual capitulation in defence for a few minutes and the game was gone! Both teams attacked well at times and some painful defending, although, a lot of the defence left a lot to be desired. Poor turnout from us, to be expected really, but we made a good bit of noise, and had some good banter with the stewards, just what is the need to have 1 steward for every 5 fans though?? thought you lot were very quiet until the hour mark, then you came out of your shells, once the game was won. Apart from the result i enjoyed the game.

hudds showed some decent touches but defensively you look poor and your confidence is very fragile. Although the brough sin binning allowed us to pull away, we were going to be 8 points ahead at that stage and would have won whether he stayed on or not IMO. Hull's defence was pretty decent I thought. You had lots of posession in our 20 metre area and we dealt with most of it pretty well
I to come thought fonua was still not right with his knee. For there try he looked like he was really struggling . Maybe it just tightens up but cert was not running freely at times

I agree there's a lot of strapping on that knee for it to be right. However he wasn't alone in the limping stakes at one point our entire three-quarter line was hobbling about! It appeared the more we struggled physically the more we seemed to dig deep and produce what was required.

I actually think Fonua looks bigger than he was during his days with Melbourne, but just how strong is his upper body strength?! What is he 22 years old?
