That's why we were much better than the first half when we had no chance to work something out and had to deal with it on the fly. I was disappointed with some of the defending but on reflection we were probably suffering some fatigue from the recent hectic schedule. Good win in the circumstances and 5 on the bounce.
Too right. Frank playing off-half in attack that first half, all cobbled together. Times like this we miss Whiting.
But brilliant to overcome the disruption and put together a very impressive second half.
Houghton fantastic once more, Sneyd, Naughton and Michaels did well. But Liam Watts, a great mature display.
(Brough, of course, played a blinder. 10 minutes at a crucial time and two missed easy conversions. See you soon, angel )

Bit of a no win situation tonight. Playing the bottom team yet even before the game it had all the makins of a banana skin. To then lose CT and go 6 behind and end up with a comfortable enough win is great. It was always going to be one of those no frills, just get the job done games, so its a good one to tick off the list. On to Headingly.

Just said the same. Shaul is in some form right now also. His break was the gamebreaker IMO.
Thought Hadley slotted into stand off very well. He's been immense since he got his chance. Excellent team performance despite what some have said on here. Sneyd, Micheals, Frank, Fonua and Airlie messing about at south end oh and Taylor, Watts. Oh you get the giste.

Very good win, thought we looked sluggish first half, but was to be expected with the late withdrawal of Carlos. 2nd half we seemed to step up a gear particularly when Brough(easily there best player) was off, thought Sneyd, Shaul and Naughton were the game breakers, but though Frank, Tomo and the rest of the forwards were excellent. Yeaman did a great job on Cudjoe and as soon as he off Cudjoe caused us all kinds of problems.
