Last year for mine, because we won it all and did it in style and it was a great way to see JP and KS end their RL playing days. But the pole does highlight how fortunate we have been in the SL era to see so much progress and success for our team. same for me.I know the laughton years ended badly and never produced a trophy but when we were on with the likes of Schoey, Hanley clicking and the power and pace outwide of Innes and Iro it great RL to watch. just couldn't match the consistency of wigan.The 94 final remains my greatest live game despite the defeat.

We won the grand final in 2007 33-6 smith left Leeds after that.

So... In terms of achievements and the 'feeling', last years fairytale ending cannot be beaten, ever I reckon... I truly believe that will be 'THE' moment that is forever etched in our clubs history as our finest ever hour - the way Hunslet fans view the year they 'won all four'.

However, without a doubt, the most enjoyable rugby I've ever watched was during the Graham Murray era. I started watching Leeds as a kid in the mid-80's, and whilst Schoey was my hero as a kid, we were generally always the bridesmaids (at absolute best). The rugby we played under Murray is the type of rugby I love - we were brutal in defence and had that real intimidation factor in Fleary, McDermott and Morley, I loved the 'you're being too rough' warning from the RFL... Then mixed in with that we had the Harris/Powell/St Hilare switcharoo that foxed everyone - Harris was at his superb best.... Godden out wide... Mark Glanville, the ultimate workhorse and warrior... Simply brilliant...

Some great days out and great matches from back then, and getting to see us lift the Challenge Cup for the first time in my life after the heartache of 94 and 95 against Wigan... It was the first time I'd known success in a major comp...

An awesome team, coached by an awesome bloke, playing the game how rugby league was meant to be played.... That pack wouldn't last 5 minutes without being suspended for half the season nowadays... Great great days!

Now, now Mr Wigan fan, can't you see we're deep in despair at the moment? We've gone through denial and are now on the verge of acceptance. So we're enjoying looking back at happier times.

As for Lee Smith, well I'm assuming you mean the 2009 Grand Final where Smith was definitely, 100% onside. Fortunately everyone hated Saints at that time so no one really cared. Though I'd say there was 2 decisive moments in that game, 1 was the Smith try, the other was Sinfield's last ditch tackle on Eastmond to prevent him scoring in the corner. A try that would be given today with the rules on the corner flag.

Though my favourite Grand Final was the 07 one. We have Saints a good ole stuffing. And that was following giving Wigan a good ole stuffing the week before

It's a difficult one to decide because all those periods are special for one reason or another but I eventually voted for 04-07 under Smith. I think he brought us a ruthlessness we'd been sorely missing that took us from a team that flattered to deceive to a team that dominated opposition. Not to mention some of the play in 04 & 05 was outstanding and that we've probably only matched again in 2015.
