Hello All.

It's been brought to my attention that this board is getting a tad fractious.

Now we all know that two of the mods, having done sterling service for years, have decided to hand in their modding badges.

At present, that means this is a little short handed.

So, while we attempt to steady matters, I shall be looking in on a frequent basis.

Now, I don't want to have to do anything.

I don't want to hand out bans; I don't want to find myself locking threads or editing them.

How that works is entirely up to you.

To help facilitate matters, this thread is going to stay open for reasonable discussion about the future of the board.

I will also create a new thread, so that, within the rules of the AUP, you can do a spot of venting spleens, if you so desire. Note – still within the basic bounds of the AUP – so no slagging off your fellow board users; no content that wouldn't pass the watershed test and nothing libelous, no matter how much you hate Marwan.

So, let's all play nicely.

A good start would be to crack down on the people who have more than one account registered to an IP address, there are certain individuals who some crazy things and find mysteriously the same person backing them up.

Just a suggestion.

If Minty was like Royalty, she's have to rebel against herself and we'd be back to anarchy.

It's sad what's happened to this board over the past few years but I think it just mirrors many other forms of Social Media tbh. Now I've never been a regular poster on here but I always enjoyed reading the views of far more knowledgeable rugby fans than myself...... and although there were often disagreements it was generally good natured debate and people would agree to disagree and move on. Now it just seems like a certain minority (as is the case on most RL Fans forums) who take great pleasure im antagonising people for their own pleasure. You only have to look at the VT to see every thread derailed by a Hull FC-Hull KR b1tchfest! Remember 20 years ago when discussing rugby in the pub you just ignored the local village idiot (or slapped him! )who annoyed you? Not so easily done with Social Media and it says a lot about the world we live in when the likes of Joey Barton, Kim Kardashian, Katie Price etc are followed by millions on Twitter, Instagram etc etc.

How we resolve this, god only knows but as fans we all need to take responsibility for not letting this board die. 99% of people on here are more than likely adults so can we all please start acting like one?! (and yes I include myself in that and will try my damnedest not to be wound up by the numpties!!!)

At the end of the day the "Clique'' has retreated because of Me and Mario that's how childish and pathetic it really is, this Forum has been ruined by a "clique'' if you ask me and many ex-posters. They have all now retreated to form their own ''Cliquey'' forum where debating the Negative is outlawed, therefore, their one-sided views, aren't really classed as debating. A Forum is supposed to accommodate all views of discussion without causing any prejudicial vitriolic abuse towards a single party. Reading their Tweets was absolutely the most embarrassing piece of Childsplay I've ever witnessed coming from supposedly fully grown Adults where they blame myself and Mario for bringing down this very Forum. Now this Forum before I ever joined was in no better state, I have friends family and acquaintances who have come and gone from these boards who have refrained from dialogue due to the ''Cliquey'' goings on. It reminds me of a Primary school playground where Michigan Red flies around the yard whispering in people's ears "Don't post if "Flat Stan'' or ''Mario'' posts, this is what's actually going on. So I'm glad the "Clique'' has decided to retreat with their Ad Hominem vitriolic nonsense, Typical Bullies left with their tails between their legs. They hated their views being challenged just alike your typical bully. I ain't going nowhere, posters will and still visit these boards there's no comparison.

So at this point I'll say ''Bye, Bye to the Clique'', Your Forum isn't a real Forum, it only accommodates one dimensional Zombie's. Now this Forum is a proper Forum where the Anti, Pro, positive, and Negative is permitted hence your migration to 'Deviltalk'
