He came back in half the time, straight back in doing long minutes, played both games over Easter and was our best player (along with Shaul) across the two. Late in games, after big minutes, he's poking his nose through and carrying two or three tacklers another ten yards with him. Last minute at Rovers, there he is with a tackle to drive them off towards the touchline, ruining their field position and running the clock. I just think the guy is incredible. Contract immediately.
Amor must have hated it tonight. Ellis totally had his number. Ouch.
Two year contract please. And a coaching role after that. The guy is immense, and embodies everything a professional should do. He's got the sort of respect that you wish you could bottle. Hope it rubs off on some of the younger lads.

One of the greats to ever don our colours. Radders said in the past his team-mates feel 6 inches higher when he's there to lead them out onto the park. The bloke is awesome.

He was superb last night (again), the whole team steps it up when hes on. We have to keep him past this year.
Went off with 10ish minutes to go... Looked to be carrying his arm, but also he was pointing at his ribs/sternum. Was walking round after the game so hopefully it's just a knock.

Ellis is metronomic. He never stops.
Perhaps the enforced lay off with his Achilies has refreshed him to enable these level of consistent performances?
A contract offer must be around the corner. However players with the longevity of the likes of Menzies and Peacock are few and fair between. 1 year rolling contract with or a 1 year with an option of another dependant on appearances. Sweeten it with the agreement of a coaching role when the boots finally get hung up?
Hi all i havnt posted on here for a while, but I have to congratulate all players and staff for the performances over the easter period. Ellis is a monster and it seems that the players don't want to drop in performance levels after that meeting he held. Ellis doesn't often take this action so they will definitely of known he meant business. Houghton work ethic is sensational and his dummy half play has been phenomenal behind this pack and now we are seeing a kicking game to him aswell. If he keeps this up England coaches have to take notice. 40 tackles last night without a miss is crazy. Snyed is growing into the role and the confidence been shown by him is typified with that 40m drop goal. Does anyone know the extent of ellis injury. Seemed a bad one at first but hopefully just a stinger and precaution because of previous rib injuries. Big raps all round including the fantastic away following. Keep it up roll on hudds and the whinos
