If a player as good as Brough is available despite his age we should be looking at signing him, if these young players are good enough they will get a chance and make it, we can't hang around and out all our hopes of some young halfs who might make it, us fans needs some short term success.

We are well off form with or without him and trouble on camp.We didn't get Brierley for nothing and relieving him off captaincy duties in my mind spelt the end. First rumours I heard were a couple of weeks back going to leeds, but if he was to go rather to you guys but I fear his best days are well behind him. Oh I think we can safely say his best days are behind him. If we had a chance to sign him a couple of years ago it would have been a no brainer, but the more I think about it the more I think we should just steer clear.

Judging by the comments of the Hudds fans he's still producing the goods even if his mind is elsewhere. And if he wants away and is desperate to sign a contract he wants which is on the table it's hardly surprising his mind is 'elsewhere'.

I know he's in Hull a lot but he's here today whether that means anything I don't know you've got to love a good rumour
