You misheard. When you asked him who we'd signed, he said "woof", not Brough...
I hope this isn't true tbh. I'll always have a lot of time for Broughy, and he's still a handy player, but I don't really see the point in this signing. 33, off field issues (if rumours are to be believed) and imo too similar in style to Sneyd. I've also always thought he has a tendency to go missing in the really big moments.
If the rumours about Pryce are also true then it would make more sense, but otherwise I'd rather we didn't bother.

I disagree on this point. Brough to me is more of a "general"/game manager, whereas Sneyd is more off-the-cuff, individual. Brough's tactical kicking would certainly bring something to the table - an area where ATM our strongest player is Danny Houghton IMO, even with both halves fit. The challenge would be getting them to gel/combine, but I think their skills are more complementary than duplicating.
Without doubt Brough is a class act but if rumours are correct about the length of contract and cash then I would say leave well alone,we should give the likes of HTW and Dean a chance ,they have years ahead of them and with our luck with ageing backs do we need to splash out.

Not just on their board. Talked to a few people yesterday. Supposedly back to his old ways after problems at home????
