The result today, whilst excellent was not deserved. The first 60 minutes was to similar to Widnes and our attack was all to similar to the previous 3 seasons. As an avid fan of over 30 years, I'm a little frustrated at continuously saying our club is in 'transition.'
I do not want to come across as pessimistic (overly), but where is our season going? The next 4 games are; Warrington, St Helens, Leeds & Huddersfield. On that performance i struggle to see us gaining more than 2 points, at most.
But who is to blame? It has to be Radford. This is his team, his philosophy, his coaching, his personnel. Radford has a win percentage of 40%!!!!
Gentle - 56%
Agar - 48%
So why in Gods name are we sticking with Radford?
Another issue i have is our recruitment. I do not want to come over as a smart ass but before he signed i watched a lot of Pritchard i said he was average at best, or at least not worth such a hefty salary. In fact, i believe he has regressed since his Bulldog days and his waistline has significantly increased. But this is the management's fault, and not the first time they have allotted such a salary cap proportion on players without necessarily improving results, i could name, Berrigan, Westerman, Holdsworth, Long. Whilst these are very good players, they didn't improve results. So what is the issue!!!!!
What a tremendous load of tripe. Pritchard was 1 of the standouts in the NRL last yr, to say otherwise is just stupid and totally lacking of rugby knowledge and ignoring what decent callers of the game like sterling fitler gould n johns were saying. Also warriors saw fit to offer a deal. In fact it is the dumbest thing I've read in a while. The top metre maker forward wise on the pitch today. From both sides
