And there we have it - let's blame Radford for telling everyone to stick it up their jumpers even though you're absolutely clueless as to what the real facts are in terms of game plan. Totally and utterly clueless just like the rest of us who are not in the squad..

Whereas you're top of the league at being generally clueless. We all have our strengths and weaknesses.

I know your trying to be funny, but, I reckon your not far off haha good job staffs. We can all only go off what we see on the pitch and the comments from our coach. I don't know why, you find Radford saying ,"we need to get back to basics" before the widnes game, and then turning in a performance like we did so hard to believe, that was exactly what he meant.

You and Radford are yet to prove me wrong, you've had 2 and bit seasons to do so. When you do, call me clueless by all means

Me and Radford ? :D
Nowt I can do about it I'm in the same boat as you when it comes to knowing nothing about the way the team is coached, the game plans etc.

You say that you say it as you see it. Seems reasonable that's what I do - but when you say I'm trying to kid people that's just garbage. I produced some evidence about him offloading to Naughton in the last game as a prime example of how he clearly hasn't been told not to do that. Maybe you were at the back of the stand getting a pie when we scored that one I don't know - or maybe it suits you to ignore some of the things that you see. I'd like to see him used more as a decoy at times but that's more down to the organisation of our hooker and halves being better. Fundamentally he's playing the same now as he was at the start of the season - a mixture of strong carries and offloads. He attracts defenders and wins penalties on the floor. Pretty much exactly what he did for the doggies - if anything he is playing a fraction narrower at times than he did for them.

The pack isn't our problem. Our backs, with the exception of Shaul who is having a good season, need to shape up in all areas. They're letting us down out wide defensively and that's our biggest problem from what I've seen - without a doubt.

He didnt off load to Naughton for his try it was a pass.
Trying to think of one offload by anyone against Wakefield.
Ill have to watch the match again.
There is no doubt in my mind Radford had told the players for the wakefield game just to keep hold of the ball and back to 5 drives and a kick.

Ah yes - a very long looping one. pretty risky really.

Never been quite sure of the difference between an offload and a pass - offloads didn't exist when I started out. Think Sneyd, on one of his rare incisive (and welcome) forays directly at the line, managed to get a good one handed short ball to Naughton which saw him in the clear about 40yds out. Shame he flapped at it and dropped it really. Oh and there were the short balls by Sneyd and Tuimavave (x2) for the tries (and Washy's to Tuimavave of course). Maybe they were passes and not offloads? Or maybe even assists ?

Might have had a few more with a bit more second half possession - we can't afford to have the same poor share of possession on Friday as we did in the second half of last week - game and play will go scrappy again.

No, not quite as blunt as that. But back to basics, I can imagine, complete our sets get to our kick, no unforced errors. When players are under pressure not to make a mistake. In my opinion, would go for saftey first approach , seriously reducing the number of off loads etc, players then stop doing other things, like supporting the man with the ball, knowing he as little chance of recieving an offload . Confidence dwindels , and it starts rubbing off on everyone. Yes the cas and wigan defeats was dissapointing, but instead of scraping those game plans and going back to basics, id of liked to have seen us try improving on those dissapointing close defeats instead of going for the saftey first approach. Of course all just my take on things, but looks pretty obvious to me thats whats happened
