The way some are talking you would think we have never been on the end of a heavy defeat when Yeaman has played. His defence isn't that great.

His defence isn't that great!!! Get out of town. Have you just started supporting. His defence and try scoring record speak for themselves, as to wether he should be playing or not is for the coach to decide. He will be judged on results hopefully.

Our defensive systems are the main issue. Players being pulled out of position and a complete lack of capability to defend kicks to the corner

That would be the obvious choice given we are playing the weakest team in the League
If Yeaman had been playing out of his skin at Doncaster and the under 23 game against Warrington then maybe come into consideration for the first team but he was rubbish at the first match at Doncaster and the under 23 game according to Dons fans and someone on here who attended the under 23 game.
What message does that send to our younger players.Play poop and get selected.
My concern is if our forwards really get on top tonight then even Yeaman should score and that means he could be selected again against HKR.

Yeamans defence as others have pointed out is not that great and is one of the worst players i have ever seen defending a high kick to the corner.
He cant jump and if you watch him he always tries to leave the high kick to his winger instead of jumping for the ball.

Yeaman's defence hasn't been great for a few seasons now. Looking at how he played in his prime and somehow expecting the same performances today simply doesn't make sense.

Over 40 years a fan thanks so I think I am a decent judge of players skills.
