just wish sky and the rfl would get their heads together and pick lancs v lancs and yorks v yorks on a thursday night, due to the highways agencies, shutting the m62 at 10pm around manchester just compounded to the misery n ball ache getting home

FC fans always show up. Shame the same can't be said about the team...

Surely the biggest positive was the first 15 minutes or so. Hull were like a steamroller, very impressive.

In that period Widnes rode their luck somewhat and enjoyed a decision or two but kept themselves in the game and then the Hull players seemed to be thinking 'What do we do now|?' Especially after Widnes showed their quality and replied with a very classy score of their own.

The answer would have been for Hull to defend their line with the same intensity as they had shown when rolling forward when the going was good in the first 15 minutes. They didn't.

Sadly that "what do we do now?" comment rings very true. FC only have one gameplan it seems and don't have any backup plans for when the main gameplan fails.

Enough of this doom and gloom. Let's get back on to the positives from last night.

Upon reflection,
1. We had a 100% kicking record with our conversions
