If the youth set up was so good then why throw it away and focus on the U23's? Surely the U23's is only as good as the youth set up feeding it and from this day forward you have sold that off. As you say our youth policy has been substandard but surely that makes the decision to merge an even more odd one from an FC point of view.
My point being that its all ok you slating the staff movements at the academy but if you wanted that much say then you should have continued to run your own. In effective you've sold the family home and then complained the new owners have built a conservatory.
Just for clarity where was past parity in youth development claimed?
