Instead id try and protect him a bit more and like Dave said put Ellis out there to help out
I have said it several times on here Seb the fact that Pryce is defending with Logan and they both jump the line too often and also miss tackles is costing us tries on the right and Michaels is getting unfair flack for trying to cover inside. When Fonua is fit i can see Radford playing him now at centre to give Logan a break. If he sees fit before then put Michaels in the centre as he is a good defender and play Naughton on the wing.

I would keep him in with Yeaman being unavailable but the jury is out. I would not be swapping players all over i.e. Michaels/Talanoa to centre would be daft IMO. Young though and clearly committed.
Guys like Logan are still a little undercooked for me. Although I get people aren't writing him off, rather just concerned but it's early days.
According to the whale it looks like Abdul will play 6 which is a good shout for me. Last year he looked great but should he play, it's his first (SL) start so I'm not expecting big things
What worries me is that having seen the highlights from the Widnes match, they look bloody quick, forwards and sideways and Mellor looks good for them. Although I didn't see the full game I expect they will use the same playbook that Cas used against us. That concerns me. Having said that, if the effort is there from our boys then I won't complain if we lose. Maybe just kick the dog instead!
I can't believe watt's position in the squad hasn't come under much scrutiny, some terrible plays at the end of the last 2 games. He is obviously not the greatest decision maker when fatigued. So, at the very least, he shouldn't be on the pitch in those final ten minutes when he is tired.

i would've like to seen watts dropped, but he was a third best player for making metres v wigan
start from the bench or for god sake, please dont let him be on the pitch in the last 10 minutes lol
Physical fatigue is no excuse for second bites of the cherry/deliberately sticking an arm out betc. It's how rugby league has being coached for far too long (and refs letting it go for far too long). Some players just can't help themselves, Watts IS a prime example and he and the rest of the forwards need it drumming into them about stupid/cheap penalties at the ptb, Especially in the latter stages in close matches. We need JA, Sneyd couldn't kick a 40/20 if he tried, it's incredible that we didn't kick one all last season, with JA boot we need to be trying it more often and.not just on the 5th.

I would really hope that some players are on a warning of a dropping unless they cut this out.
If JA comes in and does well, I would hope that it is then his place to lose, Pryce fit or not
Has abdul lost any weight? His speed, mobility and endurance was seriously compromised last year. I can see widnes really exposing him badly for his lack of pace

You can tell which fans didn't go to the Wigan game, I thought Logan was very good defensively and kept Sarginson (A much more experienced international centre quiet)
Altough not hit the heights on his attacking performance, there is no way Micheals should be at centre in front of him, it such a negative move and backwards thinking. There is no doubt that Micheals is more reliable, but for a team that has lacked some X factor for so long, you shouldn't be dropping a much better attacking player in Logan for a steady player like Micheals. Logan despite less carries has made twice as many tackle busts and 4-1 on clean break against Micheals.
If we had a really good experienced centre waiting to come in, then I would consider it, but Logan is still miles ahead of any of the backup centres we have.

Wakefield - who are everyone's favourite to finish bottom. Rovers - who have only managed 1 point so far and were beaten at home by Wakefield. Leeds - who have had a disastrous start to the season and have lots of players out injured. Giants - see Leeds.
They lost to Salford who we comprehensively beat.
Despite their league position I don't think we should be fearing them. An FC victory for me.
Possibly naive - winning breeds CONFIDENCE. They must have it and we must be starting to have niggling doubts. That's why the totally impartial bookies have them as favourites. Bookies don't involve emotion. Let's hope they're wrong. Personally I am nervous and fear them winning by 12
I have lost interest
