No complaints about the defeat. Cas deserved their win.
Very poor start by Hull, but was impressed how we didn't panic in the first half and had squared it up by the break.
Thought we'd see the game out after Shaul's second try (that's 41 tries in 54 games now from Jamie). That was a sloppy penalty we gave them to draw level and was so predictable that we were silly to give it away. After that it was just going to be a one point shoot out. The final try was just academic as we try to force the last play.
Well done to Cas. I thought we'd win and win well. Cas showed up. It's not the end of the world, but hopefully we can learn from those quickly and put it right next week.

Its not Michaels fault.I have said several times before With Pryce defending next to Logan they are both jumping the line which creates the space as Michaels has to then come inside to cover. Pryce did it gain tonight. He is the weak link in this team in my opinion.

When your forwards got some momentum, Sneyd seemed anonymous and although Pryce did try, he was pretty poor in his decision making. If the transition between forwards and backs had been more varied and sharper I think you would have won.
You were dominant in the halves and centres where Webster and Crooks had great games plus wingers who finished off all their chances. Well played!
Saw another side of Pritchard tonight- his other nickname is Cranky Franky!
Jamie shaul has impressed me big time this season. Did pryce need to kick near the end? I'm certain it was 3rd tackle and we were floundering . 2 more drives then a match levelling drop goal fro 20 out?

An arrogant Wigan fan a few days before we stuffed them 18-4 at the JJB.

Could've been a classic if Hicks had stayed out of it. He did us for so many small things we got too scared to hit hard and that cost us. Fair play to Cas for jumping at every chance they got.

Scratchy head Hicks is worse than Child and that's going some, his inconsistancy of decisions are baffling, Cas were the better team whatever the officials did/didn't do.

Again its that 'consistency' word creeping in again, and we're only in round three!
I can understand that there will be some differences on a week by week basis, the speed and aggression of differing teams will dictate that, but not during a game...
I must admit getting caught up in the atmosphere doesn't help as a fan, but he did look to be punishing Hull for things both teams were guilty of. Need to watch it back really and see.

Did Marc Sneyd play last night or just kick goals?? He was very quiet for you. Its no good your huge pack doing the hard yards if your half backs aint there to throw the quick passes outwide and tun for gaps etc.... I think that was your downfall. No halfbacks controlling the game.
No complaints from me. Had as down for a win but have to take this one on the chin. Beaten by the better side on the night, not a disaster but a wake up call as some have said. Need to sure up out wide, we've been to easy to score against on the flanks in the 3 games we've played so far and it's not just the wingers at fault.
