I would look at a stat like that and be pleased, I said pre season I'd want DH to stop making so many tackles and make our much vaunted pack take some of the work load off him. That means he's fresher in games, his distribution doesn't drop off, hes able to make telling breaks deeper into each half and as important lessen the chance of injury/burnout at the backend of the season.
There is only one stat that really matters. So while we're 100%, with big winning margins and class attacking style, I'll take any other stat that goes with it. Because overall "its working" !!! In all areas of the club, back room staff and players, they've ALL done really well, thats ALL aspects of the club. When people do well its ok to give a pat on the back. Praise when deserved is a good thing. When we stop playing well surely thats the time to focus on the negs ?? Onwards and upwards Hull FC.

Remember we played Wakey away not long after Radders had re-joined the club. as we were walking out towards the "Boxes" end, I noticed him and a few of the players walking around the pitch heads down. I thought it was a new way of warming down but when I asked him what they were doing he shouted back "Looking for my gold tooth"!!! I'm not sure he ever replaced it.

Absolutely - it's already bearing dividends in his performances. Let's hope it helps him develop his attacking play. Surely a less tired/more alert 9 will make better decisions and improve their distribution.
I'm a bit late to this thread but here's my thoughts.
Radford was given the job way too early, the rugby we played for a year and a half was garbage, and the criticism of him was justified. Even if we win the treble this year it doesn't make the critics wrong or fickle, because he was clearly out of his depth.
However, as last season went on he seemed to grow into the job. Whether you are a Radford fan or not you have to give him credit for the way he has kept plowing on in the face of adversity. He's got one hell of a thick skin.
Recruitment has been good, and we look like a new team this year. Everything is really promising so far, but I do think people need to calm down a bit. Wakefield were 2 from 2 last year.

ess agree with all of that, especially the calm down bit, then wait till we have played ten matches then if we are still playing as we are at the moment, not neccessarily winning them all (I wish) then we can get excited
