Am I the only one that thinks it's pretty bad that he missed the birth of his child to play the game? Yeah, it's great for us that he played, but surely some things are far more important?

No, you won't be the only one. He's a professional sportsman, there are sacrifices that have to be made. With a bit more 'planning' he could have been at home for the birth.
That said, congratulations to all in the Shaul family.
Not the first team sportsman to do such a thing, but to travel away to the south of France is quite a gesture to the cause from Jamie and Chloe. Is this our first true Hull FC baby !!!! I'm sure he'll be given a poignant nickname. Congratulations to all the Family.

Baby was early and with only being away for 30 odd hours ish figured he'd chance it. I'd of thought naughton to have come in if it had come to it. Another bonus of a chartered flight (although it didn't help him in the end). He'd never have gone if the usual set up had been in place
