well no one gets any credit on this board for a win, i'm actually surprised that the phrase '2 poor teams' hasn't been mentioned yet like it usually is. i'll be happy with no credit and 2 comp points every week ta. we've got wigan in round 4 we'll see where we are after that. before that we've got a game against Cas and i would expect a big crowd at the KC for that one. this attacking style of rugby will hopefully bring the crowds back for our next 2 games and then beyond.

Hull look very strong. Catalans looked cack, but that was partly due to Hull's dominance.
It's early days, but I can see Hull's challenge being robust, given the way they're set up.
At least it offers some mitigation for our pre-season hammering. Some trepidation about the real derbies though. Early Easter this year too. Umm.

Way too early to be getting carried away. 2 good wins but meaningless if we don't keep it up. Our start to the season looked reasonable so we have to make the most of those early games and get some points on the board

the Kangaroos were pretty much abysmal but Hull were pretty good, so a lot of credit to Hull, but in all honesty, Catalans heads dropped quicker than a Wigan bird once the game was up. Hull do look strong this year but they did last year and within 4 week the Radford out stuff started, for the Hull fans' sake i hope it's at least 6 weeks this year.

As a Rervers fan, Hull look disappointingly good.
But they are still foul and evil and from the wrong side of The Chocolate River's Tributary.
And, they all should die, twice, just to be certain.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.

Looks a bloody good player he does!
Ellis looked pretty sharp (bar falling off a couple of tackles which isn't too bad due to coming in with no game time for months) considering the nature of the injury he's come back from.

G Hull looked strong last season ? let me hazard a guess, you are basing this on just the first game of last season?

Hull looked good tonight, I’m really pleased for Radford, he’s taken a lot of flak & countless “Get Him Out” threads.
Catalans were their own worst enemy, how many times did they get pinged for messing about at the ruck, they must have watched O’Loughlin last night & thought they’d get away with it, well I’ve got news for you boys, he didn’t & neither did you.
Yes they may click as the year goes on, but it seems that quite a few teams have improved their squads this year & if they get dragged into the middle eight dogfight I doubt their resolve.
In Springfield, they're eating the dogs, the people that came in. They're eating the cats! They're eating the pets!
