If you look at the AUP thread at the top of the forum, in bold in the first post, it says "Posting anything potentially libellous is against the AUP and the admins and moderators will strictly enforce this rule because the future of this site depends on it. We will not let a few idiots spoil it for everyone else.
This is a final warning, anyone who deliberately posts anything unsubstantiated and defamatory against a club or player poses a liability to this site so risks being banned without warning."
There will be no more warnings - and that's for everyone.
Except the facts have being substantiated, I outlined what was said by all three in previous threads and was rubbished despite what is patently obvious given what we know from the fact we are not able to get Smith signed due to salary cap limit. If you and others want to ignore what has actually happened (i.e. facts) and that the club have deliberately midled fans thats your problem but it certainly is not libel.

All I want is the club to tell the truth, time and again the three protagonist's mentioned lied about the happenstance of Westerman leaving, deliberately misled fans regarding how much cap we had to spend when he went which left us with no cap space to sign anyone which proves that we were touting to offload Westerman all along, otherwise how could we have got the signings under the cap that we had already confirmed BEFORE his 'official' sale went through. If you can't fathom or accept that the club lied and lied again then that's your failing not mine and me bringing it up is not trolling in the least, it's highlighting an aspect of the club that is micturate poor and deceitful.
I'm looking forward to this season but I'm fed up of all the bull that the club come out with that is all smoke and mirrors and they quickly seem to forget the lies they spout only a few weeks/months previously.
I've tried to be sympathetic with your arguments and can understand to a degree what your trying to say but "The Cap" is live. When the signings for this season were announced, Westy was still an Hull FC player and as such his wages would have counted on the cap as would all the signings announced???? When Westerman,s sale to Wire was finally declared, there must have been some cap space left??? You do not know for sure the workings of the Club, you are not privy to meetings, you are not Mystic Bumpy. You cannot justify everything you diatribe by saying "FACT". You cannot call anyone a liar unless these "LIES" are spoken to your face in front of witnesses. Please stop quoting facts and defaming my club. By all means support my club from afar but do not comment on my club unless you know your facts.

I can empathise with that I was at the other end in at three quarter time playing cowboys and Indians with the Airlie Street boys!!
Back onto Smith does anyone else think, as I was wondering, that perhaps the elongated silence and the fact that despite us having several players that could be shipped out, no one has moved (or perhaps wants to move because they don't have to if they are contracted), that the whole Smith thing may have been abandoned for either cap or finance reasons? Its all gone extremely quiet.
2016 The Year of the Airlie Bird -on sale NOW, price £15, BUY THE BOOK RE-LIVE THE DREAM!
Anyone going out at this stage will be lucky to find a club with both cap and finance spare and that want the player offered so it won't be that easy to offload I guess especially as it's either someone we don't want , need or is inexperienced and we'll then want them back.

Final word on this. The wording I quoted says "potentially libellous" and the last time anyone looked, it was for judges and courts to decided what was libel, not the person making the point.
Two other points you will have noted after reading the AUP thread at the top of the board (you did read it didn't you?)
1. The very first sentence says "This is a fan-run site, we do not have a team of solicitors, and none of us involved in running this site are willing to risk it being taken to court"
2. "This site costs several thousands of pounds per year to run and these rules have been developed over several years in order to protect both the site and its members. Nobody makes any money from RLFANS, we are all just volunteers who give up our time and energy for nothing other than to support our game.
There are two options for anyone using the site: either follow the rules, whether you like them or not, or stay away".
That should be pretty clear. Anything considered potentially libellous will be removed, along with (potentially) the poster.
