Sums up well, but not perfectly.
It doesn't matter if a hoax proponent is a troll, delusional, mad or just brainwashed and gullible, if their ramblings go unchallenged then someone will read it and of these, some, having had exposure to hardly 1% science at school, risk being sucked in to the madness. So the trick is to coldly expose the drivel with the facts and the science, until the delusional's side of the convo degenerates - as Stanley's has - into incoherent and increasingly bizarre ramblings, when they reach the finger-in-the-ears cryptic incoherence stage, plain for all to see.

They do if they are to the NW of Trafford (albeit at an inclined angle) That explains it! Our Stan lives in Leyth, and is suffering from a Lobby overdose.

Stan has one big problem. He believes in the literal interpretation of the bible. Which means flat earth, 6000 years old etc etc.
He has to fit everything else under this core belief. Nothing can undermine it, no matter how obvious. He has to go to incredible lengths to make everything squeeze into this core belief to the point that he probably can't keep track of all the inconsistencies.
The stupid thing is, he can still believe in God and what the modern world tells him. Like ISIS, it's his unwavering belief in literal interpretation that causes the problems. It's okay when individuals with crazy beliefs air them, but if enough people adopt those crazy beliefs they start to influence policy and progress in society. Retarding it at the least, and becoming dangerously out of control at the other end.
I think he's a good example of someone who thinks they think critically but is fundamentally dishonest with themselves.

I still forgive you for your evil tongue. You don't even know me. The indoctrination you swallowed in the infantry is dominating your horrid soul. You need love in your life. I pray for your soul. Poor soul.

I wasn't in the Infantry, and you say it to me like it's supposed to be insulting. Which it isn't.
You can pray for me all you want, just leave the thinking to the grown-ups.

We used to get our information in the libraries. Where did your information come from. The News and down the pub. hahaha. Mr Knownowt calls me an idiot yet swallows all the mainstream bullshit. Who's the gullible one then. hahaha.
What did Churchill say. "Keep them in the pubs and out the libraries.".

It tickles me when someone says in defence ... 'you don't even know me!', when they have posted bible's worth of drivel. We don't have to personally know you if that is what you are like, if your writings truthfully represent you. It is drivel, ergo you represent drivel. There is is a fuzzy, warm person on the other end of the internet which we are misunderstanding is there? Scallops!

Corrected for accuracy.
You can't claim that reality consists of physics defying planets, holographic sky and satellites, Masonic controlled everything, the earth is only 6000 years old, science is made by the devil to hide some kind of truth, that the worlds biggest thinkers are in cahoots to control us all, without any credible proof and call everyone else gullible and stupid.
That's just insane.

I was going to libraries way before I was old enough to go to the pub. I never recall there being a conspiracy theory section in any of them.

He got his information by being brainwashed ..... Then instead of rationally thinking 'how do I fit into this system I was born into?' He thinks 'how does this system fit around me?'
