It's honestly not great but considering some of the RL games we've had in the past, it's ok but again not great.
You'd think that in 2014-15, they'd have been able to develop much better graphics, more realistic stadiums & crowds but hey, can't have everything can you.
In RLL2, they made an update available to squads and kits for the 2013 season but you had to pay for it which i wasn't keen on, if they do this again and you don't want to pay for new squads then be prepared to use old squads.
I certainly wouldn't recommend paying full price for a brand new copy but if you find it for cheap as hell then i'd say go for it and try it out.

I had RLL2, not got the newer one but I can tell you that the second one wasn't great. Graphics were questionable and I got the impression that super league was an after thought on it. You didn't seem to be able to play the challenge cup alongside the regular season which was annoying. Main problem with it was interceptions and dropped balls; there must have been twenty of each every game so coding wasn't amazing either.

I think RLL3 is a lot better than RLL2. They've fixed the intercept issue Yorksguy mentioned, and is much more realistic I think.
I don't think they're planning on putting out a patch to update the teams for 2016, but the game does have a facility for people to edit teams (roster, kits, player features etc), and make them available for other people to download for free. This is what I've done.
The problem is they don't have the image rights for the SL players, so they all look very similar to each other, but a download fixes this. Luckily there are players out there who enjoy doing all the editing.

Got this on Xbox one and you have all the new squads available via the community download part of the game. FC has the new kits etc. Not a bad game but not great either.
The games helluva lot better than rll2 online play ,edit squads shirts etc on fanhub more stadia career mode as star player or rookie coach etc graphics and gameplay far better
Think its great anything that gets R/L into the living rooms is ok by me. Only thing is me and my lad both know how to hand off so now we score just about every tackle but he's 7 and loves it
