It could be argued, in a rather obscure way perhaps, that a stronger Warrington and Catalans will help our cause as the top 4 teams are more likely to lose more games than they did last year.
Is Hodgson the new Griffin, or is it all about pace?

So instead of engaging in meaningful discussion/debate you revert back to form...congratulations.
We massively underperformed in 2014 and the season was an unmitigated disaster, 2015 we underperformed yet again in reaching 8th with proper Jekyll & Hyde rugby, luckily for us we had a period of some really good rugby but too much of the drab clueless stuff was on display and the two KR matches epitomised our season to an extent.
So now with the best squad and set of forwards we've had for many a year, Radford with 2 seasons under his belt and all we can say is 5th or 6th is where we should be and it's an 'improvement..it clearly isn't, it's just putting us back on a par where we were 3 years ago, something that led to our then coach getting turfed out for having the temerity of reaching 5th, winning a play off game after reaching the CC final with a squad inferior to what we have this season.
if we don't reach 4th or win the CC/come within a hairs breadth of winning then it's another failed season in my eyes.

Yep.
I like the way he's set very high expectations of which anything less is complete failure, gives him a basis to come back on here spouting his anti-club/Radford rhetoric on the good chance they're not met. He's noticeable as the only person on here setting such parameters for failure.
A strange way for someone to live their life. I wonder if such high targets were set when he had the brainwave to produce that badly-written Radford Out petition? 103 signatures on a petition would signify failure to me, but then again the petition is still open - perhaps for a re-launch later this year: https://www.change.org/p/adam-pearson-h ... terminated

I'd love to see a 5th spot finish at the end of the regular season and a decent run in the cup. I think we have a brilliant squad this year, one of the best i've seen for a while and believe we have the ability to achieve what i've mentioned.

The Salford match will show just how far we come with this new squad. Its definately exciting times i just hope we dont get a reality check next week from a mid table team. My big disappointment from the HKR friendly given our dominance was i didnt see much of Logan. I hope he retains his place but wouldnt surprise me to see Fonua moved to centre and Naughton on the wing
