It was a very short statement to be fair. Basically just thanked the players and fans.

He didn't thank any of the directors (one of whom is his dad!) and didn't mention his colleagues and close mates from his coaching team either or any of the other club staff.

Statement from Leigh and the length of time it took to get a statement out seems to suggest that the club were as surprised as the supporters. Nothing in either statement seems to suggest that this is anything to do with Beaumont (assuming that is who you meant as he is the owner, not the Chairman.)

Nice one Nozzy....it's all very strange. If it's true what a bloke who works for the club told me is true, then I can understand that there is no further explanation. I don't believe it for one minute, just saying that there are 'rumours' flying around. But would I have resigned over this 'rumour'....NO.

Gaz hock ain't a big Harris fan at all , might enrage the beast if Leigh appoint Harris.
