The Good Friday game away at Bradford originally moved from 3pm to 8pm. Now to be played on Thursday 24th March.
I know only to well that we travel in small numbers, but really, yet again we are being messed about. No thought or consideration is being given to our fans who have to plan well in advance to attend our away matches. Cheap train tickets need to be bought well in advance and once purchased cannot be altered. Hotels booked similarly.
The thing is that this is not a one off. It seems to with alarming regularity. Last year it was Halifax, not only a day change but a venue change as well. Cost me over £200 thank you very much. Remember The Catalan game moved for Sky or the Welsh game moved to a Thursday because Nobby was due on TV at the weekend. Need I go on.
We as fans, who travel great distances, really do deserve a bit more consideration and respect. On that point why are we first up at The Blackpool Bash. More proof of what little thought is given to us.
Well I planned to go, I might be able to arrange things to go. but on reflection, It is the most expensive ground to visit and really it is just a sh*t hole on top of a hill. All six of my party might just give it a miss.

Not sure why it is necessary to make changes like this in the Championship?

Provide more rest between the 2 Easter games

This is the thing, if it was changed for TV I would accept it, but my belief is that it has been changed for commercial reasons.

If it was to provide more rest between Easter games, why change it now? The date should have been set when fixtures were first published last year.

It was a questions I really don't know the answer!

Does not help that it's so close to start of season easter being early and all that
