I know this game counts for nothing but its hard not to get a little excited when we are scoring for fun like this.
Quite impressed with you especially the pack, think your a shoo in for the top 8 if you dont get a lot of injuries, and were a shoo in for the bottom 4 from what ive seen so far.

Only a friendly, but lots to be positive about, looked very good with ball in hand backing up much improved in last year. Frank was outstanding, looked so dangerous, he is going to cause havoc this year in SL, also thought the other new players did well. Thought Pryce had a great game also.

Fonua seems like he's gonna be a weapon for us. 3 pens won I think? Massive unit. And I'm not sure that's his 1st first team game since about June July time
The go forward was impressive allowing the half backs to dictate play. Both half backs had outstanding games in particular Pryce who looks far more dangerous when he is running at the line.
Very good performance but it has to be said Rovers were terrible.
Pritchard was unstoppable at times and it was great to see the rapport he had with the fans.
Can't get carried away but still it's a very pleasing result albeit against a poor team. All the new lads will take a lot of confidence as will Sneyd with his 100% goal kicking return
I was quite surprised to see Salford's score (not sure what sort of side Wigan had out). It certainly sets up the first game nicely. Really hope to see a good attendance.
Just got back, must say its hard not to get excited after seeing that, pritchard scared them to death, even not having the ball he created space for people, our pack looks brutal, the depth in the squad looks really impressive, no ellis or talona either. Think non pass holders will turn up for that first game on the 5th, and I cant wait, just hope we can put in a performance to keep them coming back. Hats of to who ever pulled off the pritchard signing, amazing seeing him the black and white shirt of hull, a world class signing

Even though it was only a friendly I have to say we look much improved on last season both in the way we move forward as a team ie with runners and support play either side but also in the way we promoted the ball.
Think we took the 20 mins to get into any sort of rhythm but after that we looked fluent and like we knew what we were doing. We certainly on todays showing look better without Westerman.
Thought Taylor was excellent and both he and Watts look as though they will be a great front pairing. Pritchard was fantastic, was impressed with Carlos too at centre.
As long as we can keep up that sort of display week in week out for the 80mins we will certainly win way more than we lose.
Can't believe Fonua is a winger the guys massive.
All in all early days but so much to be positive about.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

Thought having some real strike in both centres made a big difference. Frank lived up to the hype and kissing his badge at the rovers fans was a bonus!
