In an era when many will buy lots via the Internet, there is not need to pay £25 for a ticket.
Buying a ticket in advance via your phone, it's never been easier to get hold of a ticket.
One of the major issues RL suffers from is significantly under selling itself. Dropping ticket prices significantly turns it into a cheap product. Unfortunately, as evidenced on this thread, some have an expectation that they should be able to get in for next to nothing.
Most RL fans would agree that our sport is far more of an entertainment spectacle than football. Yet the vast majority of football ticket prices are way more than RL.

Can you download tockets to the Apple passbook?
Knew someone last year did print at home, the stupid readers in the turnstyle couldnt read the barcode (yes it was the right way round etc)
You'd think i could give the club authority to take £15 off my cret/debit card and in effect load the friendly/cup game to my season pass card so no ticket needs to be printed...... I scan my pass and the system knows if i've paid for that game. Simple
Maybe the SMC missed a trick spending on barcode readers, maybe RFI was the future, like an oyster card or a smartphone

I would hope that in the not so distant future there will be turnstiles with contactless payment scanners .
