I genuinely think there is a mindset problem at Wane's Wigan. Everything is a problem or an excuse to be used rather than a challenge to be overcome. Having international players is a feature of success, something that benefits and develops them, exposing them to different situations, other players and a higher standard of play. But for Wane it's just another excuse to use, something else to publicly complain about. It's the loser mentality of a coach clearly feeling the pressure to deliver.

He's just giving his honest opinion and there's probably an element of truth in it. Absolute non-story to be honest.

Spot on, the big clubs always usually make up the majority of the England squad every year yet we still end up with the same teams winning stuff. Leeds and Saints made up a large number of England squad during the 07-09 period yet they continued to reach GF's vs each other.

Here are the number of players each club has had called up by England/GB over the last few years for end of season comps. (For instance the 2008/09 section refers to the 2008 World Cup. The numbers refer to the number of players from each SL club for the 2009 season)
So yes Wane will have had the likes of O'Loughlin, Farrell etc with shortened pre-seasons for the last few years, but it's nothing the other competitors for the title haven't gone through too at different times. I'm sure Leeds would have loved for Sinfield to get a break or maybe Wellens or Wilkin at Saints, but that's just how it goes.

Surely players involved with England re getting a better level of training than they would at THEIR club's. Therefore, it would suggest that they would improve further, with being called up for international duty.
It' up to Wigan, to manage their players properly, in terms of fitness, rehab etc.

If you look back at the past you will find that the top clubs have always managed to over come this problem, from the 80s Hull Kr and hull FC manage to still win things with their players in the G Britain team and work has well
