this is a pity we have to make it work we have some great young players who need to be playing regular rugby at a better level than 19s to progress don't know why we don't apply to league 1 an enter a team, call it hull white star and play at YPI, surly if they charge a fiver and play on a Saturday they would attract 500 to watch, and it would self financing

i have to agree with him. The idea i guess was to have competitive matches on a regular weekly basis well clearly thats not going to happen. i have suggested several times it would have been better for Hull and HKR to have a joint under 23 team and applying to play in league 1.They could play at HKRs ground. That would in my mind have been a better option than messing with the academy
