[quote="Mrs Barista"]Your friend said the majority were predicting we're nailed on top 4 minimum. In fact it's 24%. 76% are therefore not predicting Top 4 minimum. "Dress it how you want" but on average the prediction's, what, 5th? We finished 7th before the split in 2015. Your indignation seems a tad intense in this context.[/qu
Is that legal speak...'minimum', 'nailed on', 'average'. You sound like a financial advisor. The fact is 50% believe you could finish 4th. That is highly unlikely.
Catalan Salford Wakefield look like they've all improved. Giants will rely heavily on Brough (you remember him?). He's not let them down yet. Leeds won't be as strong and maybe a car crash missing Sinfield but even then would finish above both Hull clubs. Saints had horrendous injuries last year so they could be a lot better than last season. Warrington now have pivots in Gidley and Sandow. This may free up Clark. They will be better again. Wigan have a fantastic bunch of young players who will be outstanding over the next 5 seasons. Castleford have recruited well. They're better coached than both our clubs. Who knows with Rovers. The back row is very light...again though Clarkson could be an improvement on McCarthy. Mimms looks an exciting prospect. Thorniley will have to play well. The pivots are good and the wingers score a lot of points. Our defence will have to improve dramatically....that's unlikely though it surely can't get worse. Both teams given a good season will not finish above 6th.

The only other all time Challenge Cup Final record created that day was Tom Briscoe's tryscoring record, of course.
So you admit you're just guessing about knowing what he meant , and don't know for certain

They're not my words, BF. Your good friend Chester Wednesday stated: "Well over half are predicting top 4. Plenty more speculating 4th 5th or 6th." This has been comprehensively debunked.
As for the rest, I don't know what your point is, other than to support the thoughts of the majority of FC fans who are predicting 6th at best. (12 out of 22 now including Dave K and Marcus's Bicycle).

I think you'll find they did, they were relegated to the bottom 8, and if it wasn't a "record losing score" then it must have been a "record winning score" surely?? Have you forgotten it was 50-0 to Leeds and your team was totally humiliated in the most one sided finals in the history of the game?? and then you had to play the likes of Leigh and Bradford to get back into Super League?? It all happened in August 2015 not that long ago!
