As I suspected, he's as full of poop as Burtons [sic] Forearm.

I rather suspect that Burton got a new spade for Christmas and is continuing to dig a very deep hole, which as we all know will collapse around him. Maybe time for him to retreat and consider his position. It seems that very few of his compatriots are rallying round to support him.

In summary Hull FC fans are predicting on average a better season than this, by, what, a couple of league places? Hardly outrageous forecasts of silverware, more optimistic pre season outlooks based on what most interpret a better squad year on year.
It's easy for Rovers fans to pour cold water on this, why wouldn't they with an imminent overseas camp and a(nother) 5 year plan being made up, but I'm not sure their outrage at our relatively moderate hopes is wholly justified.

Still a majority, mind.
Is it? You said a majority of posters have us nailed on for Top 4 minimum.
Top 4: 4 (Airliebirdrunninglate, Tinkerman23, knockersbumpmkII, paperboy) 4th-6th: 3 (Graham Richards, Doom and Gloom Merchant, hull2524) 6th or lower: 3 (Jake the Peg, number6, Wilde3)
Doesn't this mean that 60% of your cherry-picked sample don't have us as Top 4 minimum, and this increases to 75% if you simply go beyond page 2 of a 17 page thread. Actually 76% if you include Marcus's Bicycle.

So half are predicting a possible 4th place finish...you can dress it how you want but that looks like 50% give or take 1.
Did you sell mortgages for RBS Mrs B?
You all either believe in father Christmas or have a grumbling psychotic illness if you think you'll finish fourth. 4-6 is pushing it. The ONLY chance of above 6th is if sneyd and Houghton play all year....at their very best.
Leaves us scrapping for 7th at best IMO. We have average halfs, an average attacking hooker with no back up and only 1 decent proven quality outside back. No way on earth will we be top 4 and highly unlikely top 6.
Our failings last season were mainly around turning possession and field position into scores. We haven't signed anyone who is likely to have a major impact on that aspect of our play. radford won't have had a major shift in ability and tactics so we'll pretty much get the same as we had with maybe big frank scoring a few and setting up a few more but that will be it. We will still be dull to watch, have a poor kicking game and poor basic skill set across the whole team. Distribution out of acting half will continue to be slow and inaccurate and we'll fade badly late in the season when some of our older players are either injured or knackered.

Damn your right........I'm stuck in a fourth placed size hole, deluded staring at another false dawn.....o'meley and Fitzgibbon have us nailed on for top 4......oh wait.......Pearson will make us unstoppable with his huge injection of cash......oh wait.......we're a massive massive club.....oh there go Cas, Huddersfield and a late starter Catalan whooshing past us....again and oh s#it our lower league neighbours finish above us regularly too. If I'm in a hole what continental sized fault line is your club stuck in?
