A privillage no longer afforded to the kiwi based jouster who still seems worthy of regular comment and citation. The ground is not suitable for anything other than 700 gates and there has been no planning applications made to redevelop it. There are 2 structures that hold 30 each used on the opposite side from the grandstand (sic) and I suspect 10 more of these would be the maximum permitted without a massive fight from the locals. Kia ora and merry Christmas.
Interesting thing with planning application on the site, not that long ago it was just fields I believe, they now have 2 pretty large structures on the site as well as the low stand behind the sticks. Precedent is there so if and when any further applications are lodged 8th would be interesting to see what grounds for objection would be valid.
And objections to a phone mast do not detract from my statement that according to local residents improving the facilities have been discussed and not totally dismissed.

Did the london broncos "build a new gym" as was claimed or did they convert an existing structure/room? If I recall, Mr Hughes claimed they we're building a gym in the same sentamce he mentioned development......tidy bit of spin that! I put an extension on a flat in hanwell, less than 2 miles from trailfinders......planning application took 4 months and was then delayed by a further objection.....if we go up, we will move.
Not really sure your extension in Hanwell and what happens at a sports ground 2 miles away have even a remote comparison, they managed to build a new school a mile from me despite nearly everyone objecting so take my example against yrs, trust me the cost of housing round here make those round trail finders seem like a bargain. As for building a new gym, if it was never a gym before then it's a new gym, or does it have to be a new build to qualify? Using existing structure means not worrying about planning permission, just change of use. If we go up we will move! Maybe we will maybe we won't, it's not as if we are not used to it. Personally I think we should wait and see what happens during the season, pointless constantly complaining about it, it ain't going to change, home for the minute us Ealing! If we go up let the club worry about that when or if it happens.its not as if any of us will be called upon to deal with it, well maybe LBSA might have an input
