A nice way to end the year

Thanks for this week's diary Wilf and for all of the others you've been kind enough to provide over the years. A good philosophical look at things and like you I'm now itching to get back on the terraces and see what this new season will bring. Nice to bump into you yesterday and really enjoyed the chance to meet and talk to the players. My grandson was blown away by the attitude of the players who were kind enough to pose for pictures with him and has now asked he can have a season pass!! (More expense).

once again wilf,your diary was well appreciated up here in jockland,i always look forward to reading it.no matter what you write ,your private thoughts ,the ups the downs,my first read on a monday morning is the diary.trying very hard to get my jock brother in law to go to the magic weekend with me,to see a real sport played by real men.have a nice christmas wilf and a happy hogmanay.

Great Pre Season read, Wilf, especially the last few paragraphs about what the club means to people. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Christmas and fantastic 2016.

Really enjoy the diaries Wilf. Only omission for me is a Dinosaur corner! ( I watched back in 1945.)

Looking at the Advent Calendar photo and the presence of Col Hutton and a young Scott and Whiteley plus Roy Francis, suggests that it would have been about 5 years earlier than 58/59. I know I would have been there.
