We have signed JAson Walton did he look good for you guys last year? I think Morris will go well; dont no much about Walton. Thoughts on the 2 players please many thanks

Luke Morris will not be missed, to be honest it feels like he was never even at the club.

Always liked Sean Morris and was disappointed to see him go. Not sure he is super league quality though.

As for Jason Walton, he never appears to have stayed at any club for any time. Wonder why?

Was at Batley for four years. Seemed a good fit as a upper echelon Championship Club Second rower. He seemed a decent fit as a wider squad player at a bottom end SL club.

We will never know whether he decided he didn't like living away from his mum and dad, could get a few extra quid somewhere else, or whether he thought I can do better than a long-shot at a return to SL.

Never really sure why clubs release players so readily as we signed him when the market was in our favour, and we released him when all the better players in our sights were signed up. I know we wouldn't want an uncommitted player, but still. Maybe I'm still smarting from Fa'afili and Faumuina.

Walton as a player is fine. Maybe not the biggest and whether will be much more than a squad player at SL level I don't know. Would probably still have been here, and a good Championship player, if the allegedly off field activities had not intervened. It's up to him to change that if true.

Morris only got a chance towards the end of the season and at FB. Too late to really feature in the Coaches main plans. Club considered keeping him but the cap prevented that. Now if the increased cap had been introduced in August it might have been different. However not sure he would be first choice. Potentially could develop.
