This sat was out Ealing have a home game, Sunday it is last shopping weekend before the whole Xmas thing which am sure would have put some off. I don't know the training schedule but I would guess it's in the week so it's a normal training day makes sense on that, not sure what financial arrangements are with Ealing but maybe the cost of a Sunday event was a factor as it does need staffing at Ealing. Yep some folk are put off as it's a Monday, but all the schools are off so it's one days holiday activities sorted. It does mean the shirts are available before Xmas for those that can't survive without email. It's like anything, some will like it some will not. Am sure those of us that can go will enjoy the day, those that can't will get feedback if they want it, and then those that whinge and moan about every single thing will do just that.
Lovely piece of apologism;) but personally I would have been much more likely to go if it held were this Saturday and combined with an Ealing home game. Might also raise some interest among the Ealing fans. It's not like the pitch could be damaged.

Or it could just be the club have organised the event for their links to the Ealing business community which is a 12:00. After which the doors are open to supporters.
Life is pretty simple: You do stuff. Most fails. Some works. You do more of what works.

Says it all really.
You can go so Monday is fine.
Those of us who can't make it through work commitments and suggest it isn't a good idea are whingers and moaners (is this a step up or step down from being fairweather fans?)
Sarf Essex you are being selective I saud those that cant go will get feddback, i then said there is the third group of whingers and whiners who woukd complain whatever day it was and however it was run, and have already stated they dont go yo this sort of event. If you want to join that camp then fine. It's a training session team and kit launch, not sure how anyone would expect them to do it on the day Ealing have a game
Anyone notice they are having kids entertainment? Cowgirl you still haven't told anyone what you were implying
I got an email from tom someone or another asking me again to register. Alas, I can't make it, but it is good to know that the ealing networking event is part of the open day......given tom someone or other owns a networking company. Monday, Sunday, whatever day........what matters is how long our benefactor can be bothered putting his hand in his pocket, because when that stops, everything else turns to custard!

I'd suggest we're in an Ealing (sic) Mess as it is.
With the other comment, you suggested social services should be informed if any kids went, why? What are you suggesting? It's a family game are you saying otherwise?
