Whatever day is chosen would suit some and not others - hard to believe I know. Granted a weekend might have been preferred by a few more but given, players contractual arrangements, Christmas shopping (last minute !), family responsibilities, kids school and club sport, Ealing at home, pre Christmas parties, you get the picture. Lets see how many turn up on Monday ..... and then we can only guess how many of them could have made a weekend and how many more might have come. 8 of us coming down from St Albans and that doesnt include Perry !

If you pick a working day the week before Christmas you will only get those who are already off work as virtually everyone else will have already used up annual leave

No we know you cant please everybody but Monday afternoon in comparison to a weekend. Thats a no contest.
There is the point that a major part of the day is watching training sessions. Given that the players will lose their weekends from Feb to September through playing commitments I reckon it might be a bit harsh to call them in at a weekend in December for this
Can you please expand on what exactly you mean with social services and the broncos open day? What are you suggesting? The free rfl event is a family day so actually aimed at all ages.
