Yeah and had it confirmed yesterday by a different guy, he says it's 6/4, breakfast/dinner are all taken together, he suggests it's a very strict regime compared with past coaches. Good to hear.

I'd guess this is just the early phase of pre season, I'd assume it will ease off as the training goes on, no one can train to that extent for three months, can they?

Even they taper off the intensity of their training, also they perform then relax for weeks/months before entering another intense training regime. Rugby League players also taper off the intensity of their S&C work but will intensify the skills and technique programme.
They then enter a phase of maintenance throughout the season.
