I think that says more about the Salford club than Chase tbh, Leigh are in a far healthier place IMHO and he could thrive. (hopefully just not at Odsal again;) )
Can i ssy chase is a quality RL player, i think we can all agree on that. But please leigh fans, can we not go round shouting things like, Sl here we cone, and thinking teams will roll over for us. The hard work has only just started. Welcome and good luck rangi chase.

Agreed, it was no surprise everyone took such delight in our end of season collapse after some of the stuff a few of our fans were spouting all year. Hopefully they'll have learned their lessons... but I doubt it!

Get to the million pound game and he will win it for you. With this signing Leigh will replace either Salford or Wakey in SL. Be tender with him though - he needs to be loved ala his time with Cas Tigers. Get him back to that form he had with us and he'll do the business for you. Good luck for 2016.
Chase was very good for Salford on the whole with his time with us. It was a pleasure to watch him at times. The problems arise from whether you can keep his head in the game. Plus he does things his way and not always the way he's told. He can win you games on his own but can equally cost you points. If you can put up with the demands of worship and him basically doing things his way and not the coaches way, he'll do well. If ego's collide he could disappear.
Fwiw I think he'll rip-up the Championship on his own next season. No offence to the other Championship players, but HB's of his innate ability are rare in any competition. He'll definitely give you top grade entertainment and the game of RL would be less without him contributing in some way.

Undoubtable a great player & a fantastic signing especially for a Championship club. Going to be interesting to see where he fits in the team. Understand what people are saying about him potentially being a bit of a trouble maker but not more so than Hock was & he's settled in really well and played some great stuff (saying that as someone who was totally opposed to signing him when we did) so hopefully we'll get the best out of Rangi too and what a talent he is when at his best.

Great news, well done to all concerned for making this happen. Whatever the trolls and doubters may think about Leigh there is one for certain and they are doing a lot to raise the profile of the club , the league we are in and the sport with some success! The brand of RL played last season was first class and one that gets people on the terraces and even though we effectively ran out of steam at the back end of a tough season its good to see the club have built on that and made signings of the highest quality to supplement what was already a damn good team. For the second season in succession I sit like a excited child waiting the start of the season such is the positive 'bounce' around our club. Welcome to Leyth Rangi, I'm certain you'll enjoy it.
